Florence Healthcare Named to Inc. 5000 List for Second Consecutive Year

ATLANTA (August 17, 2021) Florence Healthcare, the leading platform for electronic document and data workflow management and remote connectivity in clinical trials, has been named to the Inc. 5000 list for the second consecutive year – coming in at No. 1125. Inc. magazine’s annual list ranks companies by overall revenue growth over a three-year period.

“I attribute our extensive growth over the past year to two factors: an industry shift to decentralized clinical trials necessitated by the pandemic, and a strategic focus on company culture,” states Ryan Jones, CEO of Florence. “COVID accelerated technology transformation timelines in research, and we were there to meet that demand for remote clinical research solutions. Of course, none of that would have been possible if it weren’t for a workplace culture that perpetuates innovation, collaboration and unparalleled customer support. I’m incredibly proud of our organization and what’s ahead for us.”

Florence solves a $20B clinical research access problem in the industry: pharmaceutical trial sponsors only connect with their clinical trial sites through people, paper and airplanes. This physical infrastructure impedes the remote work that’s now commonplace, slowing the pace of research and cures. Florence solves this problem through innovative software. Its Remote Site Monitoring Module, coupled with its eHub, eBinders and eTMF platforms, form a digital research network of more than 10,000 research teams in 44 countries, allowing for real-time, remote connection to clinical studies.

In addition to Florence, other companies on the 2021 Inc. 5000 are very competitive within their markets, marked by resilience and flexibility in the wake of 2020’s challenges. Among the 5,000, the average median three-year growth rate soared to 543 percent, and median revenue reached $11.1 million. Together, those companies added more than 610,000 jobs over the past three years.

“The 2021 Inc. 5000 list feels like one of the most important rosters of companies ever compiled,” says Scott Omelianuk, editor-in-chief of Inc. “Building one of the fastest-growing companies in America in any year is a remarkable achievement. Building one in the crisis we’ve lived through is just plain amazing. This kind of accomplishment comes with hard work, smart pivots, great leadership, and the help of a whole lot of people.”
